WOMEN’S MINISTRY

 

 

The Women's Ministry  is not a single program, but rather a variety of ministries.  The three main ministries we offer are:

  • Ladies Bible Study
  • Agape Outreach
  • Special Luncheons

Our purpose is to encourage the Love of God, Love for His word and a Love for others. It is our aim to create an atmosphere where the hearts of women will be encouraged and knit together in love, growing in a true knowledge of Christ. (Col.2:2)

The older women may be reverent in behavior ...teachers of good things …that they admonish the young women to love their husbands …

Titus 2:3–5



Bible Study

At the heart of the ministry is a series of Bible Studies held bi-weekly and broken down into Spring and Fall sessions. Our objective is to teach good things as exhorted in Titus 2:3-5 through bible study, practical helps and fellowship woman-towoman.


Agape Outreach

Another element of the ministry is what we call Agape Outreach. The purpose of this ministry is to meet the needs of those less fortunate in our local communities. We host special events to collect and distribute practical items for daily living.


Luncheons

Finally, the Women's Ministry also hosts two luncheons a year, one in December and the other in May. This is a special time where we hear from a guest speaker, enjoy a lovely lunch and a time of fellowship.
